as usual after seeing these date like everybody else I also started thinking when will be my turn?
I did some digging in DHS data and here is the list with number of PERM Approvals, these are for India only and includes EB2 + EB3:

First and foremost, a Big THANK YOU to all the IV core team who along side their full time jobs were working behind the scenes in getting this done and having to go through the hecklers and naysayers.
A big thank you to Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren in helping pass all the pain and outrage of legal immigrants to the people incharge and making them listen.
Also last but not the least, every active member of IV who participated in the flower campaign, in San Jose rally and in actively informing media on IV projects to showcase legal immigration issues. And for keeping saner heads in the insane times.
BUT WE ARE FAR FROM ACCOMPLISHING WHAT WE SET OUT TO DO.

If the news is correct then it means no visa waste this year.......
The bigger question here is .......Are there any IOs sitting at the fingerprinting place . If yes, are they authorized to give out such info or even entertain any such requests ??

The implications here are
1. USCIS cannot review the 485 application any time after it's been adjudicated and issue the physical card as soon as a visa number becomes available. In the light of fraud being rampant in the immigration system and given that the validity of an application is a sample at that time and economic circumstance, it's not easy to impose such a restriction on the adjudicators
2. Green cards are technically for a future job, whose description has been provided in the labor petition. In one way the RFEs issued during 485 stage is to ensure that this definition is not violated (ideally i.e.)
3. It will be perceived as a "whine". Given the freedom that EAD and AP provides to the recepient compared to the work visa, I don't know how sympathetic lawmakers will be to your cause.

It has truly been an effort that's well worth it. "Thank You" wouldn't be enough for you folks. Let's keep the spirit going and make the authorities do something to the system to make sure that its more people friendly so that it benefits, at least, the future immigrants.

I can't wait till we see the results of this initiative. Having a source (website, tool, whatever) that tells me how many people are in line ahead of me, and is refreshed on a periodic (monthly as new bulletins come out) basis will take a lot of the guesswork and day dreaming out of this.
A lot of us are in this mess for the long haul. A clear picture, even if it doesn't make the dates move any faster will ease a lot of anxiety and frustration. Atleast for me, it will.
If you're sitting on your ass thinking that there are other people contributing and their contributions alone will help meet the goal, you are wrong, most people are thinking the same way.
The way I see it, if you don't contribute/act to solve problems that you face in life, you have no right to whine about them.
Be like me, contribute, and then whine all you want.

Hi friends,
No doubt this is a great idea and also as newbie2020 suggests no point of wasting time and loosing the current tempo and massive support of IV members on this regard.
Would like to request all, is it possible to change the bridge schedule a bit to 9.00 or 9.30 PM EST so that it would be easier to participate for people who are in Pacific Time Zone? If most people have difficulty in doing that, lets move forward with the current schedule.

Thanks for the replies. I guess, I do not have time to get all that done before I file the I485. Damn, should have taken care of it earlier. I guess I will have to fill the forms just as I have done for the labor and then hope that I am not stuck. Will follow up with my lawyer to get some legal advice too. If I learn anything new, I will sure post.

As per this $20 drive, I tried to contribute thru my Visa Card & it was "repeatedly" prompting card# enter is invalid...I checked/ensured expire date/secure code & info which I entered is correct but repeatedlly it was prompting same message...Anybody from IV can help whats wrong with the web page?

Yes, you may end up blocking strive act, but what will happen then is all your jobs are going to start disappearing to eastern europe, China, India and any other place possible. I don't know if you work in high skilled labor market but if you do, I am sure you must have noticed the large number of engineers, doctors, architects who are immigrants and contributing to this society. Anyway, I think discussing this point with you is pointless.
Anyways, you are welcome on this forum. You can express your opinion as much as you want. I don't think we (or you for that matter) are going to gain anything by arguing online. We will have the rally and see what happens. I will do my duty(the rally) and leave the rest to God. Wish you all the best in your efforts. I hope whatever issues you have work out for you.
After hearing this, do you think our folks will sit quiet. We will do whatever it takes to makes sure that American jobs stays American.

What documents were u asked to submit...could you please enlist....well June 25 is fairly recent....you should be fine then.
Mine was RFE last November......and am not sure what's the status is....

Since you have not applied this time...you cant get in this years Quota..so get an job where you can get h1 sponsorship next year..So take off to india once your opt is over...get the employer to get you the h1b papers once approves and start to work next 08 Oct1...

I think it all boils down to this scenerio
you have a seriously injured uninvited person in your front lawn about to die. what are you gonna do ?
Some people would want that 'problem' to go away and some would want to help the person. Our actions make what we are ..
BTW if anyone is interested, child birth generates 9 dols (measure of pain) of pain and at 10 dols a person dies. 9 dols is maximum pain a human being can suffer.
Take your pick.
