    Well, Anders, we've determined that you can capture a bird in flight as long as it has a stick in it's neck so you can keep it in track. (kidding) Not many things in nature are perfectly round, straight, and sharp, sot this is man-made. We have good views in shots 2 and 5 showing it entered from the front and never came out. I'm guessing it flew into a dowel that someone was using for whatever. Maybe attached to a dock, or on rocks, or even in a local dump. Whatever it was, the bird would have crashed into it with pretty good force. That leads me to believe it was attached to something and the bird came in to land straight on, so the profile was just a dot.

    If you are planning to interview at Delhi, then check out the policies of the Delhi Consulate here: http://newdelhi.usembassy.gov/applyinghlopq.html

    As of last Sept, there was no requirement to drop off the application a week before the interview, however, Mumbai did have that requirement.

    By the way, did you investigate the delays due to PIMS? Any update on how one can request the information about the approved H-1B sent to the consulsate?

    I tried getting some info on PIMS here in US..but cudnt get any. All I have is through couple of forums including IV. I cudnt make any pattern based on approval date or service center for I-797. All I have is hope.

    Are you just trying to get people to click somewhere so that it generates ads revenue for you. The links you provided only open up windows that shows ads. I think you are a thug because don't have correct profile here, at the same time you are using some other webiste to track your GC to generate revenue for someone else, and now you are trying to lure people to visit that site. I think your are phony because your ways are suspicious. I will not do what you are saying.

    If she gets her H1 visa stamped while returning and then uses that to re-enter the country then even if the I-485 gets rejected then she can continue on her H1 visa and will not be Out of Status. That is a good strategy to maintain status with pending I-485.

    I am EB3 with PD April 06/ I-140 Approved / Applied I-485 and My Employer is shifting the offcice from One state to other state. Does it have any affect on my 485 petition..?? Please respond back with some information

    If you have a valid I-797 document that shows the validity of your H1B visa, I believe you should not have a problem. Also,check with your lawyer about the same.

    Since your I-485 will not get processed until your priority date is current, Once your wife is here on H4B, can you apply for her EAD? I'm in same boat as you but not yet married.

    Anybody with July 19th receipt date got their Check encashed? How about Receipt Notice? EB-3 India.

    I am worried about checks not being cashed yet. After Aug 17th the window is closed.
    You can expect receipts by Aug 24th or during last week of Aug(Based on current trend at NSC)

    You are NOT eligible for AC21 benefits (for the part of continuing the GC even after jobchange) on your I140 yet . So technically if the job is different you need another LC and I140. But thinking from a broader view, LC states, job title, description, wage and employer. So from an LC point of view, as long as the stated conditions there remain the same, the job is the same. As long as the job is SAME no issues.
    Absolutely no issues, as long as you have a letter from same employer does not matter.

    ok i pick number 3 with number 4 as a close second i like the way the smoke seems to be floating behind him in number 4 but it also seems (imo) that the act of exhaling is also over in that picture alternatively it seems that he is in the act of exhaling in number 3 which i find to have more kinetic energy.

    I used my AP twice via JFK. Both times sent to secondary. No questions asked, just had to wait an extra 90 minutes due to people in front of me and was given my passport with the I94 back.

    so nothing to fear.

    Sorry, if this seems off-topic.

    I'm on H1B visa and my wife is on H4 visa. We file our taxes as a joint return. My wife is currently studying for MS. She has received in-state tuition fees. We received 1098-T from the university. I'm thiking about getting a lifetime learning credit which will reduce my tax bill. My questions are:

    * Are people on H1/H4 allowed to take lifetime learning credit for graduate studies?
    * Will this have any negative effect on our greencard in the future?

    We have used it. I don't see any negative effects to green card. You are resident for tax purposes.

    How do I see or get LUD for I140 ? Mine was approved in DEC, 2006. Applied 485 in August 2nd week. Will I also get LUD?
    sign up on uscis.gov, add you case number to profile, and you can see LUD (its one of the columns)

    I have a really hard time focusing on the fence in the first two. I would pick three as my favorite but only with a slight lead over four. I actually like the grean in four as it adds a nice variation is color...but I don't like the ceramic thingy.

    Nice texture in all of them though.
