I drove past a station today; 218.9 NZ cents per litre (US$6.15 per gallon). I remember when it was 90.9...
If my math was right then that would've been about $2.55 US per gallon. I remember that as well and less.
I remember $1.89 in NY and before I moved to FL and use to visit (2002 and up days) gas down here was like $1.17 a gallon.
Now in Miami gas is about $3.69, down from $3.79 a couple days ago.
These prices are all for regular

This was one of the most handy little apps that I lost when OS X hit the scene. Super intuitive, super effective.
I have Peak and Pro Tools and neither handle those simple, everyday audio needs like a SoundEdit 16 could.
I very much think there is an audience for Soundbooth and that it will be well received. Based on my experienced with SoundEdit 16, if Soundbooth were Universal, I'd more than likely purchase... immediately.
Amen to that. Nothing I have ever found is as good at simple splicing of uncompressed audio files than SE16. Amadeus comes close, but not cigar, it just doesn't feel like SE16.

There are two things going on here, that are very different:
Apple cannot own the word "pod." Sorry guys, you built your brand on a regular 'ol common word. Apple derived a benefit from using an existing word as part of their product name and they can't just turn that around and take the whole damn word for themselves. They could have called it the "iKerbock" you know, and they'd now own "kerbock." But then, they wouldn't have sold as many iKerbocks as iPods, I'd bet.
However, iPod is Apple's word and they should clearly be able to stop people from using it, especially in an mp3 playing context.

To put it another way: If Apple can decide to own the word pod, what other words can be owned?

The point was to be type-centric rather than product centric because it can be used as a net for all future products as well, while with your proposal, we might need to be adding or removing categories depending on how Apple changes their product lineup,

Sounds like bad news for Apple. Increased outside pressure from major retailers of DVDs is turning into the less likelihood of other studios signing on to iTunes... unless of course consumers get the wonderful opportunity to pay $24.99 to watch the latest Tim Allen release.

It works fine with glencox. Very strange, but in a couple of days Issmit should be passing me, so if it is something the widget it should happen again (at least with my widget). I'll let you know.

I don't like the bar of soap design like the old iPhones. Prefer the iPhone 4 with the glass back and thin design.
I agree but the touch is always thinner and im not sure how tough a thin iP4 would be.

Of course, what you're implying, but not saying explicitly, is that Apple would never license the dock connector to a product that would be an adaptor to Zune. I'm not so sure that's true. Look at it this way, what's the best way for Apple to make sure that companies don't go putting Zune connectors in their cars and on their airplanes? Allow there to be a way to connect a Zune to an iPod dock connector. It's very magnanimous of Apple, but it means that Zune users will have one more bit of inconvenience compared to iPod users.
So, I stand by what I said. I believe it will happen... legally.

Nah, if they need to go past 10.7.9, they can go for 10.7.10, 10.7.11 .. 10.7.93 or whatever.
The numbering scheme just looks like it's base 10. It ain't.

The second highest byte contains the Minor version [4] and the BugFix version [7] as two 4-bit nibbles, so each of those is limited to a max of 15, and the last two bytes contain an 8-bit development stage bitmask and an 8-bit revision number. Thus the OS could conceivably encounter eight more BugFix versions, up to 10.4.15, before Leopard takes over. The Gestalt format is similarly limited; although the value is a long, it holds a hexadecimal representation masked to the lowest 16 bits: 0x1047.
